Moran has this to say of
someone going to war: “the rights of the
individual have gone, he belongs to his men. He has accepted war, he must allow
no mood, think nothing, do nothing, that may weaken his own purpose or the
purpose of his fellows”
Very profound. If you put “Christ” in the place of the word
“war” it makes just as much sense,
